30 Nov 2020
As Christmas is closing in, we’ve been reflecting on what we’ve achieved this year. It goes without saying it’s not been the easiest 12 months but we are proud of the films we have created and how our company has progressed and developed during 2020.
To start we have continued to deliver films for our many long-term clients, working with companies, social enterprises and organisations such as Johnson & Johnson, Social Enterprise UK, Thrive LDN, Control Risks and more. We have also taken on some exciting new clients, such as Nestle, Sense Charity, The Lord Mayor’s Office, NHS England and the Royal College of Psychiatry.
We have adapted our business to become experts in recording via zoom and have created more animations than ever before. We’ve made films for social media, promotional films, films for internal communications, and a record number of online webinars and the like! As we mentioned in our previous blog, the need for film as a medium of communication has only increased this year, and we’ve enjoyed exploring innovative ways to make great films in a global pandemic.
Growing our team
Our team has grown with Owain joining us in October and Linn joining in November. Owain is the project manager for our new Mental Health Media Production Unit, an exciting new project that will create films with people from the criminal justice system. We are so proud to be working on this new project and that we can, even in these challenging circumstances, move forward with our social impact projects. The pandemic has only increased the need of these opportunities for people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and we’re so glad that we are able to offer this program. We’ll share more exciting information about this in the new year!
Linn is our new social media and production coordinator and has been very busy joining Ann in managing our projects leading up to Christmas as well as working on a plan for developing our socials over 2021. Everyone at IJP and our wonderful team of freelancers have worked super hard to help us deliver these fantastic films to our clients.
2020 was not an easy year, but we’ve still had good things come out of it. We have attended inspiring conferences, made new connections and helped our clients tell so many important stories.
Now, we want to wish everyone Happy Holidays and let’s hope 2021 will be a better year!
